My Background
I am a self taught artist using my observations of the natural world as inspiration. Creativity has helped me through numerous rough patches in life and making, or "arting" as I like to call it, is my daily practice of love and kindness.

My primary medium is wool but I also incorporate multiple types of fiber, paper and found objects into my art. I really enjoy the tactile nature of these media and I am continually amazed at how they interact with each other.

Most of my artistic inspiration comes from nature and my desire to create joy and happiness. My art is based on a foundation of respect for nature and the necessity of our being good stewards of the planet. I love to create nature scenes and I also find great joy in creating super colorful and playful pieces as well.
